Sauteed Garlic and Herb Asparagus
I love eating many vegetables for my daily meal, but when I want to find something new to change your normal veggies I choose asparagus. This vegetable is not only heathy but also readily available year-round. And Sauteed Garlic and Herb Asparagus is one my best dishes that made with asparagus. Sauteed Garlic and Herb AsparagusCourse: Side DishCuisine: American
3 tablespoons butter
1 lb asparagus stalks trimmed and cut into 1-2 inch pieces
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley (can also use green onions or fresh dill)
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
- In a large pan over medium high heat, Melt the butter.
- Add the asparagus and cook for 3-4 minutes or until just tender.
- Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 more minutes, stirring constantly.
- Sprinkle with parsley. Ready for serving.
